Eastland Generation own and operate four geothermal plants and a hydro station in the North Island. Ngāti Tūwharetoa Geothermal Assets provides a long-term supply of geothermal heat to TOPP1 and TOPP2, and also manage the wells and steam fields.

OJI uses geothermal process heat as a significant part of the Tasman Mill’s transformation project, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the Mill by 10,000 tonnes of CO2(eq) per year.

CHHWP Uses geothermal process steam at the Kawerau Mill to produce a range of structural and outdoor timber products using sustainably grown New Zealand radiata pine.

Sequal uses geothermal process steam to dry custom-cut New Zealand radiata pine lumber used in the manufacture of furniture, packaging and engineered wood products.

Waiu Dairy uses geothermal clean steam for dairy processing.
